The Sierra Soil & Water Conservation Districts annual seedling program is underway to promote plantings for erosion control and windbreaks. REMEMBER: You must use the trees/shrubs for conservation purposes only. Just as a reminder any seedlings or shrubs that are purchased through our program are not to be used for resale at any time. You are required to order no less that (10) seedlings or plants and no fewer than 5 plants of any species.
Orders for this program will be taken from Monday, January 12, 2009 to Friday, February 13, 2009 and will be ready for pick-up April 6-8, 2009. Any remaining plants will be open to sale to the general public April 9-10, 2009. Due to limited quantities available there is a possibility that certain seedlings will be sold out prior to our closing date. Purchase costs are: Small tube containers $1.50/ea., one gallon pots- $5.50.
Once again, there will be no bare root seedlings available through our local program this year.
